Personal and Group Prayer and Discussion Guide

Several years ago I was asked to create a study guide for Anchored n the Storm. Initially I was kind of confused by this request as my initial intentions for the book were for private study and, to be honest, I never considered it for use in a group. Recently, the men’s Bible study I belong to chose to read through my book and use the questions to guide our discussions. It’s certainly been an incredible study for us and the Lord has done so many incredible things in our group these past months. It’s not about my book, the discussion guide, and certainly not me, but it is all the Lord at work in the lives of faithful men at my church.

My hope for you in reading the book, praying through the passages, and working through the questions is that you grow close to the Lord. There was such an incredible intimacy in my own suffering with the Lord during my brain cancer that I had to write the books and my prayer for you, dear reader, is that the Lord’s presence will be the most precious thing in your life now and always!

The study guide is attached to this post and has not been edited except by me, and knowing myself, I am sure there are errors here and there. I apologize for any of those as you work through the questions.
